A big congratulations to the student-athletes being recognized as athletes of the month for March. The athletes are listed below, along with a quote from each of their coaches.

Hunter Morgan – Football

“Hunter led the team with 143 rushing yards on 8 carries in a season opening victory over Bishop Grimes.  He was responsible for 3 touchdowns on the ground and 1 in the air.”

Emma Grieco – Volleyball

“Emma currently leads the team in serving efficiency and recorded a total of  9 aces in the wins at Hannibal and Cato. The timing of Emma’s serving runs in both matches were crucial to helping Weedsport secure both victories.”

Mitch Feocco – Boys Basketball

“Mitch had a great season and ended up averaging a double-double for the year.  His averages were 11 points per game and 10 rebounds per game.  He also added 25 blocks and had 15 steals for the 11-2 Warriors.”

Emma Stark – Girls Basketball

“Emma had  a great year, scoring 117 points, and compiling 45 rebounds, 25 assists, 15 steals, and 11 blocks to help lead her team to an undefeated 13-0 season. Her positive attitude and lead by example leadership skills on the court and in the classroom were so important for our team and younger players in this unique season.”
