Weedsport Central School District will no longer be requiring students and staff to wear masks while outside, on school grounds, as discussed in new guidance from Governor Andrew Cuomo and the Centers for Disease Control. However, the District will continue to require all students and staff to wear masks while inside school buildings, and on school buses through the end of the school year.

This new mask guidance also pertains to outdoor school sports. Students participating in any sporting event happening outdoors, on school grounds, will not be required to wear a mask. Anyone who chooses to voluntarily wear their mask on school grounds will not be prevented from doing so.
