Varsity Football: Mason Kocur – Mason has been a leader on the field in the month of September. He is averaging over 100 yards rushing per game, including a 68-yard touchdown run. Mason is a model student-athlete. He balances a commitment to academics and athletics, all while being a positive member of our school community.
Varsity Volleyball: The Varsity Volleyball student athlete for the Month of September is Felicity Ladue. Felicity has embraced her role of captain and has been a positive influence for the team through the toughest stretch of the season schedule. Felicity also leads the team with 74 total digs and leads the team in serve receive efficiency through nine matches played in September.
Varsity Field Hockey: Varsity Field Hockey’s Athlete of the Month is Keegan McNabb. Keegan has been a driving force on the left side of our offense. She carries the ball well and has timely centering passes. In addition, Keegan is using her voice positively in team huddles as well as role-modeling hard work and effort. She is in tune with the skills we need to work on as well as our team communication. Lastly, but certainly not least, Keegan was named to the Cayuga County All-star team in our early September tournament.
Boys’ Cross Country: James Lowery finished first for the Wolverines at the first Invitational. James (Jay) has good work ethic in practice. His supportive and genuine personality contribute to being a team player. His dedication to the sport of cross country running should result in his best performances this fall.
Girls’ Cross Country: Olivia Snodgrass has dedicated herself with training throughout the whole year. Olivia finished first for wolverines in the first invitational. Her competitive spirit, dedication, and reaction to setbacks will allow her to be a state contender this fall.
