Great news Weedsport CSD community! WCSD students have been found eligible to receive free breakfast and lunch every school day, starting November 1st through June 30th of 2027. Made possible through the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), a collaboration between New York State and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), the grant is offered to help lessen food insecurity in schools and ensure that all students can learn without being distracted by hunger concerns.
In addition, there is no action required from households to participate, as students will automatically be able to utilize free school breakfast and lunch each day as of Wednesday, November 1.
