Senior Government Class students ask you to join them on Memorial Day for the annual parade to be held in the Jr.-Sr. High School parking lot.

Weedsport’s parade is a very traditional one, focusing on the dedicated service of America’s military personnel.  Students and community members will set up displays. You will be able to drive through the exhibits, which are designed to honor America and her veterans.

Veterans are encouraged to wear service uniforms or civilian attire and any hats or visible designations they feel are appropriate. We’d love to know who our veterans are when you drive through! The parking lot will be open to visitors beginning at 9 a.m. and everyone is welcome to join.

At approximately 10 a.m. there will be a ceremony in the high school parking lot. Everyone is welcome to stay for the ceremony, which will last for approximately 30 minutes. Throughout the entire morning we ask that everyone please remain in their cars so we can maintain social distancing.

Weedsport Jr.-Sr. High School is located at 2821 East Brutus Street in Weedsport, New York. The parking lot is fully paved and a handicapped accessible bathroom will be available.
