You can now re-watch the Weedsport Jr.-Sr. High School Holiday Concert, and the Weedsport Elementary Holiday Jubilee. Students were able to sing in front of an audience for the first time in years. We spoke to some high school students ahead of their big show.
“I’m excited to be in front of a crowd, it’s fun to have a whole entire group be able to sing together,” said Victoria Ramirez.
It’s Victoria’s first year in chorus, but Jacob Blaylock echoes her feelings. It’s his third year in chorus, but because last year’s holiday concert was held virtually, this year’s show brought extra excitement.
“It’s nice because we can actually have people in this time, instead of recording it separately and putting it together,” explained Jacob. “We are all able to sing together as one, in front of a live audience.”
