Weedsport’s winter athletics season is just around the corner, and it’s time to sign up for your upcoming sport on FamilyID!

The FamilyID portal for sports sign ups is currently open for modified winter athletic session one, and for JV and varsity athletics for the 2022-23 season.

Modified sports offered in the first session are girls volleyball and boys basketball. Practices will begin on Wednesday, October 26.  JV and varsity athletics practices will kick off on November 14.

The portal will open for modified session two on Monday, December 5.  Sports offered for that session are girls basketball and swimming & diving. Practices will begin on Tuesday, January 3.  

Please go to the athletics section of our school website or visit the FamilyID link directly to sign up. 

The modified pre-season winter sports meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, October 20 at 6:00 p.m. in the auditorium at the Jr.-Sr. High School.  This will be for those who have interest in session one and/or two.

A brief overview of the Athletic Handbook and expectations will take place at the beginning of the meeting.  Immediately afterwards, attendees will proceed to a sport-specific meeting where they will receive sports information and rules established by the coaching staff.

Finally, it is mandatory that each student-athlete has an up-to-date physical on file at school within the last calendar year in order to participate.  If you do not have an up-to-date physical on file, please schedule an appointment as soon as possible.  Physicals were offered to all student-athletes this past June on campus.  Physicals can be uploaded to FamilyID, e-mailed to AMBrown@weedsport.org, or dropped off at the high school.
