The Weedsport APT held its 6th Annual “Fun Run” fundraising event at Weedsport Elementary on October 6th. The event is historically the APT’s largest fundraiser of the year, with all money raised going toward enhancing the experiences of students within the district.

The event gets kids excited to get moving! It was held outside the front of the school, and students participated during their specials time. Each time a student completed a lap, their special-area or AIS teachers would make a tally mark on that students index card. 

The APT encouraged each student to set a personal fundraising goal of $30. The top fundraising student in each grade was awarded a $25 gift card. They could choose from a list of businesses. See pictures from the event below!
