Weedsport Jr.-Sr. High School students are celebrating two wins following the Regional Envirothon Competition. The competition took place on April 27th at the Montezuma Audubon Center in Savannah.

The Weedsport Stumpies took home second place overall out of a field of ten teams, and had the high score for the day in the Forestry division. The Stumpies qualified for the New York State Envirothon Competition at Hobart University and William Smith Colleges coming up at the end of May. Team members include Adrihanna Collins, Ethan Gilfus, Keegan Montreal, Jira Spencer, and Alex Musso. 

Congratulations also goes to the Weedsport Methane Busters, who placed third overall out of the ten teams who participated. Team members include Deanna Gilner, Matthew Freunscht, and Dexter Barnhart.
