Students at Weedsport Jr.-Sr. High School will perform “Once Upon a Mattress” as the spring musical in March. If you thought you knew the story of “The Princess and the Pea,” you will be in for a HUGE surprise with this musical spin on the traditional tale.

Was it really the pea that caused the princess to have a sleepless night? If you want to know the answer, come see the show, where you will treated to wonderful songs and side-splitting shenanigans. We look forward to seeing you at the show in March!

Important Dates

• Monday, November 28: Audition materials and sign ups for cast roles, in the HS chorus room entrance throughout the school day
• Tuesday, December 13: Parent & cast meeting, in the HS auditorium from 6-7 p.m.
• Wednesday, December 14 & Thursday, December  15: Auditions, in the HS chorus room from 5:30-8 p.m.
• Saturday, December 17: Callback auditions, in the HS auditorium from 9 am. – 12 p.m.

All high school students are welcome to audition for any role.  If you have questions, see Miss Harrison or Mr. Veiga. 

Musical Fun Fact:  The king in this show is silent throughout most of the musical!
