“SpongeBob the Musical” is extremely different from the cartoon. From the moment the curtain opened when the Buchmanns went to see the production on Broadway, they knew that this musical was far different from the cartoon and so very touching. This musical is a great story of working together as a team, treating everyone with kindness and showing perseverance to save Bikini Bottom from the soon to erupt Mount Humongous. These character strengths are so great for all our students.
They also knew this production would be very challenging! There are challenging roles, singing, sets, props, costumes and choreography. The Weedsport students have been up to the challenge and this show is going to be outstanding.
