Despite a late start and big changes to the winter sports season, Weedsport varsity basketball teams boast a big finish. Both the girls and boys varsity teams have won the Onondaga High School League Northwest Division, which was regionally realigned for this season.

“Making this season happen was truly a team effort,” said Athletic Director Zac Young. “Thanks to everyone who helped make sure this season was safe and successful.”

On top of the division titles, both teams have records to be proud of. The girls varsity basketball team finished with a perfect 13-0. The boys varsity team wasn’t far behind, with a record of 11-2.

Fall 2 sports begin this week, which includes football and volleyball.
