The Sports Booster Club is a group of parents, staff, alumni, and friends of the Weedsport Jr.-Sr. High School who help support all of our high school sports’ teams by working to raise money to purchase needed supplies and/or capital items beyond that what the school athletic budget can provide. Our mission is to enrich the Weedsport Jr.-Sr. High School athletic community and the community at large by helping to provide financial and moral support for our student athletes. During the school year, the Sports Booster Club raises thousands of dollars to provide a year-end award ceremony along with other athletic department needs. Our sports’ ceremony provides student-athletes  with numerous awards including League Championship plaques, Senior Class individual plaques, three-sport awards, team MVP awards, two Scholarships for college-bound students, along with the Weedsport Sports Hall of Fame inductions.

Over the years the Sports Booster Club has been able to donate the following items to our school district: scoreboards for the football, baseball, and field hockey fields, a second scoreboard in our Jr.-Sr. High School gymnasium, track and field record boards, Hall of Fame trophy cases, basketball concession stand improvements, softball bats, a pitching machine, a basketball shoot away training device, and more. We also sponsor our annual Spirit Week for all middle school and high school students.

If you are interested in becoming a Sports Booster Club member, we have many volunteer opportunities during the school year. Many of our current officers have students who have graduated or are currently seniors. Please contact any of our current members or join us at the next Booster Club meeting. We have approximately four meetings during the school year, which you are not required to attend, and we do not collect annual dues. Please contact us if you can help.
